1. Overview
This policy applies to all services and products sold by Fifty (44.955.355 Mateus Garcia Outi) through our website or any service agreement. We aim to be transparent about what is refundable and under what conditions, so you can make informed decisions before engaging with us.
2. Consulting Services
Strategic consulting engagements are billed according to the terms of individual service agreements. The following conditions apply:
- Cancellation before work begins: a full refund of any advance payment is issued if cancellation is requested at least 5 business days before the agreed start date.
- Cancellation after work begins: you will be charged for the portion of work already delivered. Any remaining balance from advance payments will be refunded within 10 business days.
- Dissatisfaction with deliverables: we will first attempt to address the concern through a revision or remediation session. If the issue cannot be resolved, a partial refund may be issued at our discretion based on the work completed.
3. Professional Courses
For digital or online courses purchased directly through Fifty:
- Within 7 calendar days of purchase and before accessing more than 20% of the course content, you are entitled to a full refund under Brazilian consumer protection law (CDC, Art. 49).
- After 7 days or after substantial access: refunds are not available, except in cases of technical failure that prevents course access despite our best efforts to resolve the issue.
4. Custom Guides
Because custom guides are created specifically for each client's context, they are generally non-refundable once delivery has begun. However:
- If you cancel before we have started work, you receive a full refund of any advance payment.
- If the delivered guide contains material errors or significantly deviates from the agreed brief, we will revise it at no extra cost. If a revision does not resolve the issue, a partial refund may be negotiated.
5. Non-Refundable Items
The following are not eligible for refunds:
- Services fully rendered and accepted by the client.
- Courses accessed beyond the 7-day cooling-off period or after more than 20% of content has been viewed.
- Custom guides after delivery has been made and accepted.
- Any fees for third-party platforms or tools arranged on your behalf.
- Cancellations made less than 48 hours before a scheduled consulting session (session fee will be forfeited unless rescheduled with at least 48 hours' notice).
6. Refund Process
To request a refund, please contact us via the channels listed below with the following information:
- Your full name and the e-mail address used at purchase.
- The service or product you are requesting a refund for.
- The reason for your request.
We will acknowledge your request within 2 business days and provide a resolution within 10 business days.
7. Refund Timeframe
Approved refunds are processed within 10 business days of approval. The time for funds to appear in your account depends on your payment method and financial institution — typically 3 to 15 business days after processing. Refunds are issued via the original payment method whenever possible.
8. Consumer Rights (CDC)
Brazilian consumer protection law (Código de Defesa do Consumidor — Law 8.078/1990) grants consumers additional rights, including a 7-calendar-day cooling-off period for purchases made remotely (online or by phone). Where applicable, these statutory rights take precedence over the conditions described in this policy.
